Two years ago, I set out to help homeless people around the world. Along the way, I saw the devastating reality of world hunger—millions struggling for their next meal. I saw the world was in desprate need of kindness.
And that's why I created The Butterfly Effect. We believe one small act can change the world, and that's why we do what we do.

What products do you sell?
We sell two products: a necklace and a t-shirt. Our signature custom butterfly necklace, available in both stainless steel and plated 18ct gold, is our flagship product. Durable, timeless and a symbol of our movement to spread kindness and love. Each necklace comes in our beautifully designed custom packaging with a special message from our founder Lee. We are working on designs for new pieces, with a bracelet coming soon.
How fast do you ship?
Our necklaces ship internationally and will arrive on your doorstep within 5-7 days. Each necklace is hand-packed and sent in our beautifully designed custom packaging with a special message from our founder Lee.

We are not a charity, nor are we a non-profit. But with every purchase, we give part of the profit to help provide 20 meals to people in need. We do this through vetted meal distribution partners in Africa, India and Indonesia. And whenever we can, we go in person to these places to help with the giving.

This allows us to spend what would have been used for advertising on doing more philanthropy trips and giving to meal initiatives instead.
